Well hello there.
I’m Exceptionally Average… and maybe you are too?
This site would probably fit into the very loose description of a ‘lifestyle blog’, and documents my experiences and thoughts on a whole host of activities at which I am thoroughly and exceptionally average.
Generally, the aim is to discuss topics from a beginners point of view, note any tips or recommendations I discover along the way, and reflect on how it is to be ‘average’ at anything from sports to crafts to jobs.

Who am I?
A married British migrant (I don’t really know how I feel about the term ‘expat’) living in the centre of Europe – the Czech Republic.
I don’t particularly identify with being from the place I was born, have moved around most of my life, and (somewhat pretentiously) would rather consider myself a ‘citizen of the world’.
I’m not a highly qualified professional at anything, I don’t come from an exceptional family and I don’t have a particular talent for sports or music.
In fact, you might say, I’m overall pretty average…
That being said, if you like what you read here, I am also available as a freelance article/content writer and am open to collaborations.
